Hi I am the owner of Scally Dog Collectables.
History:
I was found wandering the streets of Rochdale in Lancashire, and was
transferred to Apple Down Rescue Centre in Dunstable. It was here I
adopted my two minders Trev and Tom (Father and Son), who currently
look after me in St. Albans. They are OK, but have adapted their garden
with high fencing to stop me playing with the neighbours chickens. Most
days they take me to one or other of my two shops, where I meet and greet
new friends.
Breed:
My exact pedigree is a little vague. I am bigger than a pure English Staff and smaller than an American Staff. My doctor, the vet, thinks I have some greyhound in me, although I can not see it. However my back legs do seem to overtake my front legs every time I run flat out and I can kick up some real dust clouds when running on a dirt track.
Age:
I think I am about two and an half years old, but I'm not that good at counting. I've been with Tom and Trev for a year and a half now, and I am slowly training them.
Temperament:
I am ever so friendly and will greet you and show you around my shops if you want. Trev says the worst thing I will do is put my nose in an embarrassing place and make you go Ooh!, but we all have our little quirks.
Opening Times:
Tues- Sun: 11am- 5pm
Closed Monday.
Please note, Scally Dog's Curiosity Shop will be closed from 24th Dec- 2nd Feb.
Aswell as our shops, Scally Dog will accept commissions. Please feel free to ask for any information.
We are located in the rear warehouse, behind the
first building of the Emporium and beyond the
free car park, which can easily be accessed from
Hatfield Road. We are clearly visible- just look
for the Union Jack!
